So I have searched all around and I can't seem to get a consensus on how the jack and spare tire was mounted for the regular and styled steel wheel. Scott Fuller has a table but it conflicts with both the MPC and 70 Assembly manual for 69 and 70. The MPC shows a J hook through 5/69 that is 6 1/2" long and then after 8 3/4" but then 70 goes back to the 6 1/2" bolt which seem unlikely. So the question is, for a regular wheel: jack under the wheel, valve side down and 6 1/2" bolt? For the styled steel wheel jack on top, valve side up, 8 3/4" bolt? Or randomly done on any given day?
