I am checking to see if this is the correct wiring for the ammeter junction block? It appears to me that it has been altered but in doing some research it may be the original connector?

No that is not a original connector used from the factory on a 69/70. That crimp on connector was apparently added on as a repair for the original molded on connector used on 69/70 Shelby's

Appears to be one is finished with a tube style and the other a block style
