Motorcraft Spark Plug Lead Set
« on: July 05, 2022, 10:20:52 PM »
I was very lucky to purchase this used set of leads from a forum member.  It's thought these came off a 351C.

Note the date codes 1D3/2D3 and the three different spark plug boot styles.  The leads are also numbered. I understand why one angled boot is included (for No. 8 spark plug) but why do two leads have the short style 2 5/32"ribbed boot, typical of the early '70s?  This is not the first time I've seen both the 3" and 2 5/32" boots in the same lead set.

Also, is it possible to determine whether this a factory installed set or a service set?  If a service set, does anyone recognise this set e.g. WR-XXXX
