Topic: Throttle solenoid 351W with auto and AC

I have a 1969 Mach one 351w automatic with a/c.
Is there supposed to be a throttle solenoid.
It did not have one when I bought and a friend of mine says there is supposed to be one on it?

Your in luck that you have one less part to worry about. I have not seen one on the many 69 GT350 auto with air or regular Mustangs I have worked on over the years. I have not heard from others of one on a 69 ether.  1970 maybe but not 69 .
