Every 70 mach build sheet I have lists it as a white paint code for the front. H, M, Q and R codes w/wo ac and manual/auto. So I think it should be stamped D0ZA-18045-B1, painted black with a white paint daub at the bottom. I only have one non-competition suspension 70 build sheet and it shows the front shock color as red. For the rear they would be stamped D0ZF-18080-A1 and have a violet daub for the competition suspension without staggered rear shocks.

First thanks for including your cars details in the original posting. In the future might include when the car was completed just in case that is a determining factor. Also consider just adding this information as your signature you can do that in your profile settings

As for shock paint identifications it appears from the buildsheets I have that the fronts would have white paint daubs at the bottom edge of the main tube at or near the mounting plate. Think the article on basic paint marks in the Library may show a picture if not plenty of examples of method and location in threads on the site.

As far as rear shocks some daub located on the bottom of the lower tube in Violet again based on buildsheets

Hope this helps

Understanding that my Mach is an export with the Export Special Handling Package (according to my Marti report only 177 came with this option), my build sheet shows the front and rear shocks as having two gold daubs on each shock. Its equipped with a 351C 2 bbl and 3 sp manual.

Yes it appears that the different package came with different shocks than the poster. Of course for some of these details we should have to compare options also since they can affect the parts used

Here is an example of a non-export 70 H code with a three speed
