Try again. I am checking some details on my mid-Nov 69 Dearborn built BOSS 302, and one question I have is what would be the correct arrangement for the long motor mount insulator bolt.
Specifically was there a running change from the 1969 setup to the later 70 setup as detailed in the Osborn Assembly Manual which is effective 4-3-70? If anyone with first hand knowledge can advise or has details of an unmolested original mid-November Dearborn build, that would be appreciated.
Background: My car appears to have the earlier 1969 type arrangement of a 7/16 hex headed bolt (351989-S), washer (376102-S) and bolt (375918-S). However I have no way to verify if this is original, what I do know is this is how it was configured when I purchased the vehicle in 2009. The motor had been pulled at least once by previous owners according to the documentation.
The Osborn chassis assembly manual assembly drawing is effective 4-3-70 and shows the 3/8 flange headed bolt (56354-S4) with no washer and a flange headed nut (382802-S2).
