8 Track Radio Bezel
« on: January 22, 2022, 05:45:42 PM »
That is a darn shame. Modified 1966 8 track radio bezel.
My boss and I recently went to SoCal to clean out a rather large car part estate. Filled two car hauling trailers and F350 crew cabs trucks were stacked over the bed rails. Mostly Ford and Mercury parts, with a smattering of Buick, Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, and Pontiac.
Hopefully you can view the thread at the Cougar forum.

No wonder it was so hard to find any good stuff in that yard.

Yes, that local wrecking yard used to be one of my regular stops. Oddly satisfying to sift through the years of salvaged treasure, that I knew someone took from all of those cars.
The gentleman that collected all of those parts, started working at the Milliken Pick-a-Part in the mid-1980's.
