Fuel line spring clamps

Hello,
 First post for me.
I have a 69 Sports-roof with a big block. I wanted to change the rubber fuel lines due to age.

Are the spring clamps for the rubber fuel line (carburetor filter and steel fuel line from fuel pump) black or painted silver. I know the larger spring clamps are painted silver and all spring clamps should have square ends at the tips of the prongs protruding from the clamp.

Would you clarify for the OP are you referring to silver painted or plated like cad.
