Seat belt warning light
« on: December 27, 2021, 06:38:48 PM »
Complete seat belt waring light including door jamb button. $125 plus $10 shipping in continental US.

From what I found, 1966 dealer installed option? Relay is actually a timer that shuts the light off after a short period....Button plunger in picture is not part of it....

Thanks, Pat

Going by the numbers on the wiring it must be 66. Harness says C6ZB-14A31xxx numbers are missing.

For 1966, the Seat Belt Warning Light was not available as an Accessory, but came only with the Deluxe Seat Belt Factory Option. No "door jamb button" was part of the Option. This same thing is true for 1967 ; the Seat Belt Warning Light only came with the DeLuxe Seat Belt Factory Option.

See attached.

Here's a sketch i made in 2009 to punch the indicator light hole. I recommend a GREENLEE number 730, 3/4 inch chassis punch (an e-bay item).

The pink wire with the button looks more like a glove box light. It will most likely have a spot on the end of the black plastic for a bulb.

True.
Also, the triple connector and it's associated wiring does not belong to the warning light harness itself. It's part of the installation. The yellow insulated wire with the male pin that goes into the triple connector is part of the warning light harness.

Totally agree. Unrelated.
