1968 Vacuum Advance markings codes

Hi all,

Is there a resource listing the proper codes, stampings, and part numbers for the vacuum advances for 68 (or any year) Mustangs?

I tried a search here but came up with nothing.

Try the 68 Mustang (and most likely other Ford products) service manual.

The MPC would offer the part numbers for each application if the MPC was printed the same year as the part was installed on the line. As time passed inventory was reduced, parts dropped and listings consolidated. Part numbers will only be useful (if your trying to determine what a vacuum advance you have will fit) if you have the box it came in since I don't believe any of them carry an engineering number on them.

Are you looking for something specific or just trying to figure out what the ones you have fit?
