Sorry I can't help. Haven't kept track or collected all the different versions and makers of the original or reproduction air cleaners for this application over the years

Letters appear to be pretty crude

Don't recognize the IM or MI logo

Although basically the same there are some distinct differences that I see with the lettering when compared with the typical. There is also no indication of the faint witness line present around the letters as is typical on the diecast lids. I don't remember ever finding one with a makers mark on the back side. Given that no injection port mold marks are present on the bottom side indicates that this a sandcast copy of the original diecast factory lid.

FYI the very early production 1967 Shelby lids that were sand cast from the factory had different shaped letters and a straight leg "R". Later 67 and all of 68 Cobra oval lids were diecast.

Dear Jeff and Bob, thanks for your answers. Yes the lettering looks rough, unfortunately the previous owner cleaned the inside of the letters with a rotary tool

It doesn't matter much relative to the value because it is not a original part . It is a repro lid.
