Hello, I have a 428 SCJ built in Metuchen. The schedule build was 1/21/69 but actual build was 2/03/69. I am restoring it and the shaker vacuum motor assembly is completely bent up beyond identifying if it's a 3 bend or 4 bend, and there is no part # i can find on the part.

Does anyone know what vacuum assembly I need?

Scott Drake repops them and they're widely available

If your trying to keep your car original you may want to see about finding a used one to have rebuilt. The original vacuum motor has a FoMoCo logo stamping on the one end and a date code stamping on the other. This one here I have pictured has a date code of 8 69.

Perogie Enterprises was rebuilding them 20 years ago, but I don't know if that's still the case today.
Is the guy with those skills still there?
If not, was he replaced by someone as capable?
You'll have to inquire.

As far as rebuilding these and other vacuum motors some rebuilders require two donors to make one rebuilt one due to the crimp method used to bond both ends together

Just something to check and consider

Guess in that case you might be able to use the dated half and a reproduction half if that fit your need

Sent it to Perogie Enterprises in New Jersey. He said turn around time will be about a week and since I'm in California and it being the Holiday season I'm figuring I'll get it back around the first week in January.

I'll update how it turned out then.

UPDATE:
Sorry it took so long, I didn't get the part back until Feb. 10th and crazy at work so it got put off for a bit.
Sent it to Perogie Enterprises and it took alot longer then expected. Charged $85 to put a new diaphram in the original body.
Works great, but the solder job is a not pretty.
