Topic: 1969 SCJ tach gauges

Just asking whether or not all 69 SCJ's and or all CJ's came standard with tach gauges.

I believe on the Mustang only the 4 speed CJ, SCJ cars received tachometers as standard equipment. The Shelbys however, all received the deluxe tach dash regardless of engine or transmission.

+1 69 CJ and SCJ Mustangs with 4 speeds received a tach as standard equipment but if you orders an automatic and wanted a tach that needed to be ordered. All this confirmed looking at Marti reports and on cars I have owned or built with tachs and 4 speeds there is no listing as the tach as an individual option while on C6 cars only a few had tachs listed in the option list


Now if you have a SCJ with an automatic that is going to take a little more digging (buildsheets and such) since the Marti reports with that combination do not list separately the tach on those reports.

Just as a trivia item, the 390 4-speed cars also got the tach as standard in 1969.

Thank you guys, I thought all CJ & SCJ came with them as standard equip.
