New Castle Battery
« on: September 27, 2021, 06:45:41 PM »
I was digging around and found an April 1988 Mustang Monthly article where Bob Pekins was going through which battery Autolite is correct for each year. New Castle Battery is mentioned as a source for reproduction Autolite batteries. I found their new website. I havent bought anything from them so this is merely a parts source post. They have series 24 & 27.

They also have Delco and Mopar batteries.

New Castle Battery was the original repro Autolite maker years ago. It is my understanding that they own the molds to make the cases and other companies buy them . Hopefully things have gotten better because when I asked numerous Mustang vendors they said that they stopped handling them because of out of the ordinary number of warranty claims and the problems associated with getting them resolved.
