On a regular Mustang, the boot trim snap on the metal part of the rear trim panel usually has straight sides and smooth on the top. On a '68 Shelby, I am seeing many examples of the flared base used on the upper metal part... by upper metal part, I mean the top section of the normal convertible piece that was cut off.
So, question is should the snap have a flared base on that piece. April '68 car.
