My 12/31/67 San Jose 68 has a Convenience Group fuel sender and harness running up the right side to under the dash (gauge works fine). The car doesn't have the Convenience Group option. It always gets noticed and I want to replace it with with a correct sender and harness. My question is does the non-convenience group harness run the same path to the dash and with the same clips?
+2 on using the same route.
With what you have posted it appears that someone may have tried to add the option but didn't get all the pieces off of the donor car. Pieces can be removed and will be worth something (I have no idea how much) to someone else looking to build a complete system. This from Kevin Marti's book
BY the wat for others its appears that 3,138 (all body type) Mustangs were ordered with option in 1967 and for 1968 the number decreases by approx 25% for a total of 4,888 for all body types. Only about 1200 in fastbacks
