66 GT circuit breaker location requested
« on: June 18, 2021, 08:46:10 PM »
Where would the circuit breaker go for the fog lights on a 66 GT New Jersey built Dec65.People say that is to be mounted on the wiper motor bracket. I just took mine out and there are no holes in it.Just two clips on one side. Yes it is a factory GT and the wiper motor just came out for the first time.

It should be on the front vertical part of the windshield wiper motor mounting bracket, between the bracket and the firewall.

They didn?t put it there. This is a p10 buck tag factory GT but I think they put it on the pedal support. I had that changed in 1985 and the mechanic did not remount it. I just took the wiper motor out to look and there are no holes in bracket.

Attached is from the 1966 Electrical Assembly Manual which shows what Jim has noted.

The 1965 Osborn electrical assembly manual shows the pedal support as the location to mount the Fog Light circuit breaker.
As previously posted, the 1966 Osborn electrical assembly manual, shows the wiper motor support bracket as the location to mount the Fog Light circuit breaker.

In October 65 they were mounted on the wiper motor bracket, or at least mine was.
