That doesn't look like an "A" to me.  Maybe a "C".  Am I seeing it incorrectly?

Yep and it has the crossed out FoMoCo too. I think this means it was at best a mi 1970?s service part?

Read the full description, all of that is clearly stated - it was an early 1980's purchase from the dealer.

It also says in the description that "This would be perfect for that high end restoration."

I think it is dramatically overpriced and not appropriate for a high end restoration. Just my opinion.

The "engineering" part number is C8ZE-8146-C which is marked on the part. The SERVICE REPLACEMENT STOCK NUMBER is C8ZZ-8146-A, which would be the identifying number marked on a paper tag, a wired on tag, a box and/or on the shelf.
Note the difference:

Good point Jim.  I know that a shroud with the "A" suffix engineering number is a tough find and expensive so I overreacted and confused the part number and the engineering number.
