You misunderstood. When referring to 67 or 68 car part, the year 67 or 68 typically has to do with production year . 68 production started in the later part of 67 and ended in the later part of 68. First off a 68 production car will have a 68 production radiator not a narrower 67 radiator from a 67 production car. The wider 68 radiator that your 68 car needs has more cooling capability if needed on hot days. There are reproduction shrouds for ether year. In the original market a nice condition original 67 fan shroud is a 1800.-2500.00 part vs a 68 original version which there are a number of varieties depending on when it was use 68,69 or 70 that sell for smaller fraction of that amount.
Bob,
I just assumed that sine it was an early car, it would have an leftover radiator. Since I have the correct shroud, any direction on a correct or excellent repro 68 BB radiator?
