Topic: 1970 9" Axle, complete assembly

Original, 9" axle assembly, complete.  Professionally restored (baked, checked for straightness, fully rebuilt using USA bearings, etc).

NO rust or pitting. Removed from a 1970 Mustang from CA.  PPG epoxy black on housing, red-oxide on carrier.

Housing dated July '69,   carrier dated August '69

Includes backing plates, brake lines.

FYI, I did not realize these axle housings had date stamps. Below is a link wherein this was discussed earlier this year.

I checked the axle I have for sale and found a "2C" (or it could be a "2G") stamped on the passenger side of the tube.

You need to list the gear ratio. Secondly the differential will more than likely require  disassembly to set up the pinion depth. Removal of the yoke sets load and pinion depth.
