So for 352357-S (GG-323) I found:1. No hits in the 1965 MPC2. One hit in the 60-68 MPC (picture 2) 1967 Thunderbird wire harness in the engine compartment along the driver's side3. Hits in the 65-72 Ford MPC (picture 1) 1967/68 Ford 14290 wire harness in the engine compartment along the driver's side (picture 2) 1967-1969 Thunderbird wire harness in the engine compartment along the driver's side4. Hits in the 65-72 Mercury MPC (picture 3) 1968 Cougar fog lamp and sun roof circuit breaker feed5. No hits in the 73-77 MPCI think that picture #3, being a Cougar, and looking at the location which matches the Shelby application, lines up pretty good.Maybe someone with a fog lamp and/or sun roof equipped 68 Cougar can post some pics?Does the 68 Shelby assembly drawing show this part and identify the part number?
It was done at AO Smith
Trying to understand this thread. The tilt vacuum hose clip, on a 1968 Shelby Mustang, was changed or added at A.O. Smith?
The oddball clamp was for the Shelby console gauge wiring.
Or for the sunroof power feed if it is on a Cougar XR7-G.
Nice work on the search. The 3 along the driver side in your first picture is where I typically find them. You are lucky if you can get one out intact. Like I said before they get brittle and are very fragile. Thanks.
Maybe a project for 3D printing?
As a hobby, one of my neighbors has done 3D printing for a couple of years now, and he says - no - with reservations. The media he uses is lactate based (milk). That media will not stand heat, it melts. There are other "medias" available but they require high dollar printers. Still, for low volume production, it would be something to look into. Jim
I heard the same thing when exploring the possibility of 3D printing a group 22 battery case. They said a different type of media had to be used and at that time the only color was white.
