1970 Shaker Details
« on: November 11, 2020, 12:41:52 PM »
Just starting to finish the detailing of my shaker and would like to know of the 428 Cobra Jet decal was applied to the air filter lid or not on the 1970 Dearborn version??
I plan to use SEM Trim Black to paint the shaker scoop, does the shaker black base get painted the same color as the shaker scoop or is it different color of black??
Also what is the finish color if the hood trim ring mounting straps on the under side of the hood??
And what color finish are the speed nuts, I believe they are yellow zinc??

My two unrestored  DB cars did not have a decal on the inner lid. The scoop paint was not textured, although it's difficult to tell if the color and gloss was different from the stripe.
