If you want a correct or concours car, the repop would be incorrect since it mirrors a Ford part offered as a replacement for the 67 and later used on the 68.
Even the clutch equalizer bar for the GT350 is different in 68 than the 67 GT350. Jeff split off the 67 from the 68 here as it was found that while they look similar they are really quite different cars.
Repops often use "NOS" as the guide for what to offer. Unfortunately when they often use a NOS replacement part that Ford offered in the 70s. NOS means a lot of different things. It does not have to mean what was originally on the car as it came off the assembly line.
