You’re welcome, I’ve got to get a replacement console myself because mine isn’t in good shape with missing pieces and cracks, where did you get yours and are you happy with it?

I got mine from CJPonyparts. It's made by ACP. It appears to be a really good reproduction. I got the cheap version without a top plate. Once the upper half is removed (the top plate in a mustang attaches to this) you are left with the bottom half which is all the Shelby's used with their special upper half.

Here's mine.

You’re welcome, my problem is I can’t find my original console plate with the gauges, toggles and everything else after two moves with car in  pieces so I’m having to build one from scratch myself. I got the plate, toggles and mounting bracket and wiring harness from Shelby Parts in Green Bay Wisconsin, So I still need the circuit breakers and gauges, I see you got the breakers on EBay...where did you get your gauges?

I got the gauges from Tony Branda.

http://www.cobranda.com/19shcoga.html

The gauges are a modern version of the originals with plastic construction instead of metal. They use a different illumination bulb than the originals. I cut off the bulb sockets and put on flat terminals as the bulbs are like the dash illumination.

One note about the circuit breakers. The ones I found on Ebay have a plastic housing and bracket rather than metal like the originals. This makes the bracket a little thicker than the originals. I had to widen the gap on the metal bracket (from Shelby parts) between the two circuit breakers so both breaker tabs fit down into that gap. Once modified, they fit great.

Good luck.

I'm resurrecting this thread for one last question. There is a ground wire for the lighter, ash tray lamp and gage lights that looks like it is supposed to connect to the lower dash somewhere around the radio. Does anyone know where this is grounded?
