1968 GT/CS fog lights power feed to switch

68 GT/CS 390 Marchal fog light power feed
Hello
1. I'm working of the fog light power feed, in the assembly manual it shows the fog light switch gray wire connecting to a lead wire that runs under the dash through the firewall across the support brace to a junction block on the apron (below the solenoid a little to closer to the shock tower) and another wire going from the junction block to the solenoid.
Is this correct for the GT/CS Marchal fog lights? Would someone share a picture of their engine compartment of the wire and junction block if this is the way it was run or if not share how the fog lights are powered. If it wasn't run this way where is the power feed come from for the fog light switch?

2. The assembly manual also shows a plastic wire clip on the back side of the fog light switch also the manual shows a wire clip on each Marchal mounting brackets were these clips used on GT/CS at the San Jose plant?

3, What is measurement for the hi beam switch, from kick panel side and from the seat platform up to the switch.
Thanks

The only wiring for the fog lights under the hood are the two plugs for the lamps, I believe. This was integral to the headlight harness for the car.

Each of the plugs in the engine bay has a connector attached to it and then the Marchal lamps are spliced to that connector.

Everything else is under the dash and power comes from a lead near the fuse box. The underdash auxiliary harness also plugs into the headlight switch.

The first question I have is do you have the correct headlight harness or are you adding fog lights to a harness that was not originally equipped that way?

Pete is correct as to the fog light wire routing and connections. It is the same as any GT.

Yes there was a clip used to support the fog light wires at the fog light switch. It is not reproduced and is tough to find originals. The Marchal  fog light pig tail on a GTCS was clipped to the fog light support bracket same as the GT.

I currently do not have a car with out it's interior but from the kick panel it is 1 1/2 inches and off the carpeted seat pedestal it is 25 1/2 inches to the bottom screw. Not the best measurement but would get you close.

Don't recall any junction block and don't have ours close by and it has Lucas lights
