1964 1/2 Accelerator Pedal
« on: July 20, 2009, 10:00:07 PM »
I'm looking for an NOS or repro accelerator pedal for a 1964 1/2.  I found one but they want $150 for it.  :o

Are there any alternatives?   ???

Is yours damaged, modified or missing?  Repos and NOS parts are often not like the originals.

Not too hard to restore one

I found yours today, good shape, should be no problem re-using it.

Hey Charles,

I know that this post is stale, so I also sent you a PM.  I am looking for one of these as well.

Sorry I missed your message, but I don't have any extras, sorry.  They were used at least halfway through '65 production, so should be a relatively common item.  I'd guess half a million mustangs had them!

Thanks for responding Charles.  Yep, they've been common at Pomona swap meet in the past, but my most recent trip there was pretty weak on Ford stuff, even more weak on early mustang stuff.  Of course if I was in the market for a chrome skull shift knob for a Chevy Pomona has that very well covered.  ::)

It's off to the to the junkyard I guess...
