I replaced front brake lines and had booster, MC and distribution block professionally rebuilt for my 1967 GT500. I can lock up rear drums but not front discs. So, I am guessing rear proportioning valve needs rebuild/replace as well. I bought Classic Tube set from NPD for the whole car. My questions:
1- I don't see the 3 way brass connector for sale anywhere that you can see in the first 2 pictures and it seems to be part of the rear flex line. I see rear flex line for sale, but not like this.
2- I see NPD and Branda have the proportioning valve, but I can't find the little 2" or 3" hard line that connects the valve to the flex line bracket. My NPD kit didn't include it. Do I make it?
3- I checked out a friend's 1967 coupe with great working brakes and the proportioning valve is not where it should be. Maybe moved? I would think it is a necessary part.
