Parking Light Retainer Dearborn changes
« on: June 30, 2020, 06:50:52 AM »
Does anyone know when Ford changed the parking light retainers on the 68 Mustangs? Early one's appear to have open area's where later one's / service units are more enclosed.

I have a May 3rd built 68 1/2 CJ and can't seem to locate mine in the loose parts so looking to pick up a pair but need to know what style.

Thanks ahead of time.

IMHO the open ones were only used on very early production cars. I think that with out question your car had the closed type.
