We've all seen the Eastwood 3 part gold dichromate paint.
It's ok, although not concours. And neither is the following.
But this is another option for those parts partially hidden from direct sight but you still want it to look close(r).
Note that is applied lightly it remains translucent and the layer underneath still shows through.
If the part is metal you get the highlights of the metal without it looking monochromatic like paint.

Pic 3 is out of direct sunlight.
Pic 4 is of a part that was bare media blasted and compared to a dirty door latch.
Note that in pics 1-3 I put this over a part which had a fair amount of the dichromate on there, but it was scuffed and a bit corroded.
As noted, pic 4 was on a bare part.
