Cool pics, thanks for sharing.  I couldn't help but notice the large driver door to front fender gap.    :D

Looked large on the passenger side too IMO.

Picture 8 is interesting: up on a hoist (but right front tire lifted) and a number of clamps(?) on the pinch weld.  I wonder what is going on there...

As mentioned in a post I deleted and replaced with this post its a picture provided by Ford that R&T choose to use in the link. The picture was used in at least one Ford publication and it included a caption to explain what was being measured/tested

I assume this is a test car and not a regular production car? The pinch weld isn’t blacked out I noticed as well

Maybe a pilot plant built car. Could be a car that was painted a number of times for advertising purposes also. Number of possibilities with no IMHO way of knowing for sure. Preproduction period was surely a busy and creative time period  ::)
