Heater hose routing
« on: June 10, 2020, 09:33:08 AM »
I am replacing the heater hoses on my 68 J code wo/ac 1/68 NJ built car.

I know the upper heater core hose goes to the water pump, but how should the hoses be run on the engine?

Should they be on, above the valve cover, or close to the engine compartment panel?

Thanks
Jeff

Illustrations of the routing are in the assemblyline manuals . Although the particular entry you are looking for is in the chassis manual of the set the entire set is a relatively inexpensive investment which is invaluable when wanting information about how the car is assembled . Shop manual is also needed if wanting to repair systems.
