Drag Link Paint Daubs
« on: June 06, 2020, 08:43:47 PM »
Curious what others have found on manual steer cars around June of 65.  Not sure if it matters but A code fastback.  Can't tell if this is orange or brown and maybe pink?  Also found what appears to be sea foam green on the pitman arm itself.

Yes the old colors can be difficult. Do have a picture of a somewhat rusty (to me  ::) manual steering center link for a 65 (service replacement but likely an early one) with the same mark and its a pink - but not a hot pink. More of a pastel pink

Took some steel wool to it and definitely looks more brownish on one side with pink on the back end. Hope these help.
