Whats the general opinion on installing an aftermarket full floor pan in an early Shelby or K code mustang .

For two otherwise similar cars for sale, the one with the aftermarket floor pan will sell for less.  To someone who knows what to look for, it might be a deal killer.

Remember though that this is a Concours-centric site.  If you ask for general opinions elsewhere, the results will vary.

Today many/allot of owners and shops choose to patch original floors with (if needed) multiple smaller sections. In this way date codes and factory attachment methods (spot welds) are maintained. Many shops have gotten really good at doing patches were they are invisible once finished while others still cut corners and fall short IMHO.

This would go for any Mustang or Shelby that falls into the restoration category IMHO
