67 390 - power steering hose bracket finish

I am looking for information regarding the finish (raw metal vs black) of the lower power steering hose bracket for the big block motors.  I have searched the topic with no luck but may be looking in the wrong location.  Any help is appreciated.

67 or 68 390?  Just in case it makes a difference

Checked original cars/examples an I found both sections ( bracket and loop) to be painted semi-gloss black on 67 San Jose 390 cars
