65 HiPo Upper Doughnut Washer Finish
« on: April 27, 2020, 02:31:45 AM »
I am currently in the process of restoring all of my 65 HiPo motor mounts. What is the correct finish for the metal washer that is molded into / attached to the upper rubber doughnut (circled in red)?

Also if I am not mistaken, the nut that goes on top of this doughnut is zinc plated?

The originals I've cleaned appeared to be a dark finish, like phosphate.
