Did the 69 Mach 1 have the center axle bumper that bolts to the body? The mount is welded to the body but I see no evidence that a bumper was ever bolted to it. I also do not see anything for the pinion snubber bumper to hit on the body.

Considering that you mentioned that the car was a Mach I that limits the number of possible engine and rear end combinations verses the non-Mach I. But will still ask what engine did your car come with?
The direct answer for a 69 with an H engine code or greater performance or cubic inches no there would not be a rubber snubber/bumper attached to the floor brace. Instead it would be attached to the snubber bracket attached to the third member of the rearend
As a side note you may find it helpful and a time saver to include in your signature (found in the settings section) when and where the car was built. Some just post their VIN while others a shortened VIN and the real build date. Just a suggestion
