What is the correct carburetor stud length for a 66 Hertz automatic (autolite 4100)?

Does it use the same as the standard intake and carb setup? NPD and Virginia Mustang both carry various lengths

I am not as familiar with regular Mustangs as I am with Shelby's. I believe the regular Mustang cast iron intake used a spacer which the the Shelby did not. I have always gotten the studs when I needed them from AMK . I don't remember how they were listed but it must have been easy to find as I don't recall a issue in finding them. Maybe a 65-70 GT350 intake stud kit or something like that .  Once the stud is threaded into the intake the stud stands approximately 1 inch tall .

Sorry don't have any Mustang ones out and not a single cast iron intake to remove one for you :(   Hopefully someone else will to help you out

Chris : If the Hertz uses a 1" spacer, like the other 1966 A and K codes, the correct studs are as follows :

Part # 88471-S ; overall length = 2-1/2" ; 1/2" of 5/16-18 thread ; 5/8" of 5/16-24 thread. Picture attached.

None of the Reproductions I have seen are technically correct, as the lengths of thread are incorrect. However, once installed, who will know.

Hertz or other 66 auto GT350 does not use a spacer as I already mentioned in Reply # 3 .
