Shock daubs

What color paint daubs should be on front and rear shocks for a 67 SJ convert, "S" code, auto, PS, no AC, PT, non GT?

Believe that would be Brown. That would be a true medium brown not a tan or sand ;)

Take a look at a Rustolium Primer available in a tiny can which is I feel a very close color to what the brown looked like.

Same color for the same car from Dearborn?  I hope to find the factory daubs and it's easier to find knowing what to look for.

Yes IMHO

That appears to be one of the things that didn't change during the 67 production year. One of the few ;) things

As mentioned above the color can be a muddy brown.
