Lets see if this will help.
First when your looking at other examples out there in magazines, web or where ever
- No CAUTION FAN decal on shroud
- No FRONT decal on air cleaner
- No Dearborn style round corner inspection stickers in the engine compartment, interior or trunk
Think those are the three most commonly seen ones. There are others that can be found in kits where the owner will just apply them just about anywhere figuring that either they paid for them and they are going to use them or the sellers know what is correct and would not include something that didn't belong on their car. Have a couple of examples but I hesitate showing incorrect examples in these situations.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
Battery inspection sticker. Originally paper based with no clear cover/top layer so they didn't last long. Your looking for the black printed version with the sharp corners and intersecting lines. Don't know of anyone supplying a complete good reproduction filled out correctly for a NJ 70 car. Example though the information is not legible
Service specifications- What appears to be a form of Mylar over a paper based sticker. Two examples of their general location for cars during your production period. Later in the year the location appears to change
Air Cleaner Cubic Inch - Ignore the other decal. Just a Calif post production smog sticker. Paper with clear top layer over paper sticker
Air Filter Service Replacement - Paper with clear top layer over paper sticker. Original and good reproduction will include the part number for the filter on the bottom line of the decal
Engine ID & Timing/Emission - Engine ID (green arrow) Timing/Emission (gold arrow) Both paper with clear top layer over paper sticker. Engine id stickers would have been on a roll and torn at the ends similar to the torn/cut edges used on a coarse toothed packaging tape dispenser
INTERIOR
Tire Pressure - What appears to be a form of Mylar over a paper based sticker. Not sure what version (haven't studied these closely ) of the sticker would be correct for your application.
TRUNK
Jack Instructions - Paper with no clear top layer applied to the lower passenger corner of the trunk lid typically on sportroof/Mach I applications. On cars equipped with space saver tires an additional decal/sticker would have been applied typically to the driver side of this decal
Rear Side Marker Light Retainers - One for each side LH and RH
UNDERCARRIAGE
Rearend - Paper (no clear layer) rear axle ID tag. ID number will match the metal tag at third member and on your buildsheet
EXTERIOR
Shipping Tie Down - Plain paper with no clear coat/layer
Hope this helps
