68 Car Lite glass logo question - San Jose
« on: November 10, 2019, 10:16:48 AM »
Looking for information, would anyone have a car assembled around 3/26/68 @ San Jose plant that can help with the placement and pictures of the Car Lite glass logos.

Looking for information regarding the Car Lite logo placement on a non-tinted windshield, rear glass, Rh and Lh door glass.
Is your logo on the inside or outside of the glass,
Is the Car Lite logo centered on front and rear glass  or is it offset to the drivers side or passenger side
Is the door glass logo towards the front or rear of the glass on the drivers and passenger glass is it on inside or outside.

 Thank you
 Joe

Does it matter if the glass is tinted?
I have 8A and 8B tinted windows.

Don't have a 68 San Jose home and handy right this moment but may be of some help with the other details

- Can't help if the were applied on the inner or outer surfaces

- Is the Car Lite logo centered on front and rear glass  or is it offset to the drivers side or passenger side. Centered

- Is the door glass logo towards the front or rear of the glass on the drivers and passenger glass is it on inside or outside.

DS Quarter - Forward lower corner

Don't get or take allot of window marking pictures since its to time consuming and they often don't show up well

I have the original glass on my 2/23/1968 San Jose car.  It has the Sun X glass all around but I think the marking position should be the same.  Markings match Jeff's positions and all of them are on the outside of the glass with the exception of the windshield which is applied to the inside.

Follow up question; is the logo facing in towards the interior or is it facing out on the Lh/Rh door glass
