Hello All,

This may be a silly question but Grey Phosphate colour for 71 BOSS hinges is there somewhere to buy this finish or is it something I can create. At the moment they are in Grey primer.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Like most things you can pay others to do things for your car or many here have successfully done it themselves

Using the search features and the word "Phosphate" it turned up hundreds of related threads. On the first of twenty pages of threads I found the following how to threads that Would be a start. May be more, we like to keep related information together in as few of threads as possible but the ones below should give you some info in no particular order

Were possible newer threads may have more current information

Most recent thread was posted last week.

Go to the forum's section on "Process, Products & Techniques" and read "Phosphating 101" for preparation.
