Subject: 1965 Tranny Crossmember and Emergency Brake Cable Assembly and Arm

I'm detailing this area on my '65 Convertible.  I found this "Restoration" pic from one of Virginia Classic Mustangs's Restorers (Maple Hill Restorations) that they use.

Are these colors/finishes correct for the Tranny Crossmember and Emergency Brake Cable Assembly and Arm?!??  I've seen them just painted Semi-Gloss Black on a lot of cars, but that may not be correct.  See Photo. 

I'm not sure about the finish color of the Tranny crossmember either... I know that its different than the Arm...which looks like Silver Zinc finish..

Need guidance....Thanks!

The finish of the trans mount depends on the assembly plant.

Those finishes are a close representation to the original, although they are painted, not left natural/electro-plated, like original.
