Does anyone know what “MO1” means on my glass? Dated July 1965
Don't know for certain. Appears on both tempered and laminated glass. The number portion appears to change with the "FM-M" staying the same. Possibly a tracking number to machine or plant number as glass was made at many different plants around the country. Recall visit/inspection a LOF (Libby-Owens-Ford) plant in the late 70's which produce some of the glass. Interesting process though there were certain areas we had issues with gaining access to due to "secret" processes .
They had plants in Rossford, Ohio, Laurinburg, North Carolina, Ottawa, Illinois, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Lathrop, California
