That is really good information Bob.  Thanks for clarifying that it is not a hipo impeller.  Can you tell me if these pumps had casting dates or just the part # C5OE-8505-B

Specific ad is poorly wordered. In one section to refers to two pumps "The casting number is C5AE-8505-C with 2 dates 1-66 & 2-65. Both pumps are painted black"

And another section refers to an up charge for not returning a rebuildable core so it reads like an offer to rebuild your pump
"There is a $75.00 refundable core deposit upon return of your rebuildable C5AE-8505-C, D original old pump."

::)  All I'm going to say....... EBay :o

Ad also shows a picture with the four hole standard impeller in the pictures in the upper left of the ad though shows the three hole cast impeller and the statement "This pump comes with a new aftermarket correct 6-fin Hi-Po impeller, "  So easy to see that the ad is confusing

Picture from the top upper corner - Non-Hipo/K code

Bottom picture  from main body of the ad -  HiPo version

Good luck with all of that if you or anyone else responds to the ad

Point well taken Jeff.  I realize this is the wrong pump now.  I am looking at this one.  Yes, on Ebay.
