I could not find a 250ci engine i.d. sticker anywhere or even know the i.d. number.
So you don't even have the aluminum engine ID tag either
If you look up Section 60 in the MPC you can find the engine code for the two tags.
Unfortunately the later MPC only narrow the possibilities of 45, 46, 47, 48 or 50 and it does not decode them any further by year and transmission from what I can figure at the moment. If someone had a 69 or 70 version it would likely show and narrow down the choices and indicate the right match for your application
If you can figure out the correct code then you can get a paper engine ID sticker made up custom since they are not available commercially
