Dynacorn Floor support VS Original
« on: May 19, 2019, 06:16:43 PM »
Just thought I would share a couple of pics. I'm replacing the floor pan and some of the understructure as needed on my 1967 convertible as a start anyway. When I purchased the car it came with a Dynacorn full floor with the frame rails and the works. I decided I would pull parts off of the piece as I needed instead of using the full floor to keep as much original as possible. The floor supports were starting to rust through and bubble up so I cut out the rust of course, patched the rail where needed and tore out the rest of the floor support for replacement. From the looks of it other than a couple of holes missing, the date code, and swapping a bracket this is darn near perfect. Here's a couple of pics I took for comparison. I know its not a major thing, but I just thought I would share. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
