Hi Guys

Looking for some advise / help on a 1967 GTA fastback thats in the UK that I'm looking to buy.

Should the 67 GT have the strengthening plates under the rear seat for the exhaust brackets as per the 65 / 66 ?

I have seen a marti report for the vehicle that states GT equipment.

Any help much appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

If it has the K or S code engine, yes it would have the exhaust hanger strengthening metal.  An A or C code engine would not because they did not get dual exhaust.

But an S code that is not a GTA would also have them.

If the Marti report says that options include the GT equipment group and an automatic transmission then it is a GTA

its a A code car so makes sense that the plates are not there.
