They look correct to me.
I believe the holes were drilled to allow water, rain or car washing, to drain. Owners of that car's era always do "things" to their cars to protect them.Jim
I guess I could have read more closely - the holes in the corner are NOT correct. Sorry about that. As far as paint goes I would expect that the gray primer, applied over the red oxide, would be largely covered with body color. There is some question as to the black out references on the assembly manual, but if I recall original examples of this have been elusive. I'm sure that others will chime in if needed.
