Simple question: Are the thermostatic sensors and springs all in place when being shot engine color? I assume so though I find a load of what looks like blue Lock-tite on the threaded portion of the adjustable sensor but do not sure if this is signs of paint on the sensor.

Yes always found these assembled with the springs and all assembled and in place. For others, the snorkel was painted by itself not attached to the air cleaner basae
