Carb Identification
« on: April 10, 2019, 04:41:22 AM »
Hi,

Since Pony Carb is unfortunately not existing anymore, I'm looking for some sources how to indentify carbs.
MustangTek or ConcoursMustang Libary helps only particially.

Anyone able to help me identifying attached carb 2bbl, obviously 2100 (Motorcraft?) Pls see pic.
Type of carb, eng. number, venturi....

Great thx.

according to old Pony Carburetor guide, the 1.21 inch venturi 2100 was made in 1970-1974.  application for D1MF-KA was 1971 full size ford 351-2v automatic

Great help, thx. The 1 in MKA indicates possibly 1971.

Btw. Would it possible to have access somehow to the old Pony Carb guide?
